mmmm......

mr. independent has recently decided that he would like to make his own meals. hallelujah! i was so happy to have my picky eater take the reins that i let him have a go at it. his first plan was to make a ricotta, cool whip sandwich, without the crust of course. mmmm... however, due to the fact that both the ricotta and cool whip were way past their due date, i gently steered him towards making a pb and j instead.

and in addition to making lunches, mr. independent took it upon himself the other day, while i was showering, to get the scissors out of the craft closet and hull some strawberries for himself. although i did take a picture, i also let him know that this was not an acceptable thing to do. smart thinking though.
