is it just me or does it seem like the media is making a much bigger deal about the switch to hdtv than necessary? with tickers running across the tv screen constantly, a countdown for the big switch, and daily reminders from news anchors for the last year, it seems like the end is near. the apocalypse. that on february 17, 2009 everything will go black...if you are not prepared. and seriously, are there really that many people out there who still use rabbit ears? i am guessing if there are, those are not the people who care if their tvs do go black. ahh, the drama. well, just in case, you currently have 21 days, 2 hours, 53 minutes and 11 seconds to prepare for the big day. you may even want to stock up on water and non-perishable food items...just in case...
