a must buy

i first found out about the Jesus storybook bible while reading bring the rain. (if you have never read angie smith's blog, you need to set aside a couple of hours and a box of kleenex and head on over there. you will be changed forever and amazed with her graciousness.) angie had posted a portion of this bible on her blog and i was amazed at the language the author used. it reminded me of my favorite author, kate dicamillo. so, for my nephew's dedication we bought him this storybook. at dinner the night before we gave it to sawyer, i started reading it to the boys and was brought to tears for the first time over stories i had heard so many times before. but this time the tales were told in a way that made me feel like i had a part in it. not only did i love it but the boys did as well, asking me to keep reading. so, if you are young or old. a believer or nonbeliever, i highly recommend this book. what a wonderful story it tells.
