It has been a long time coming, but the Klein gang is all here. Finley is home, and my parents may have just welcomed their last grandchild. So for the first time ever we all spent the weekend at the cottage, with each day starting at approximately 6 am as the first grand kids found their way to Yia Yia and Bumpa's bed.
The days were then filled with snuggles,
the wonders that fishing brings,
third generation friends meeting for the first time,
and early morning photo shoots.
Fun was had at every turn.
Cousin bonding was happening all around.
We kayaked,
smiled,
made up new games,
tried new things,
laughed,
worked, (ok dad mostly worked...)
blew lots and lots of bubbles,
ate lots and lots of food,
snuggled some more,
celebrated Finley's birthday,
just chilled,
and tried to accept each others quirkiness.
So thankful the gang's all here.
