it is no secret that steve and i were not envisioning each other when we dreamed of who we would someday marry. steve had visions of a wife with blond hair, and that they would one day have blue eyed children. i on the other hand thought that my prince charming would be tall dark and handsome. well, to state the obvious, God's plan prevailed.

i am now married to my medium, blond and handsome prince charming, and we are the proud parents of two brown eyed boys.

i had forgotten all about my tall, dark and handsome expectations until one early morning a few weeks ago.

as i stumbled, blurry eyed to get my morning cup of sanity, i saw joe sitting on the counter with a note that read, here is the tall, dark and handsome man you have always dreamed of.

and he is everything i imagined. i now wake up each morning to a cup of bold yet smooth coffee and smile, thinking of the one who gave it to me. who says you can't have it all?
